Fantasy Autopilot

Side project: MEAN stack, Yahoo Sports API {fantasyautopilot.com}

This is an ongoing side project that I am very passionate about. The idea is to make fantasy sports more accessible for those who may not have the time or interest to check their team on a regular basis. This web service hooks into the users Yahoo Sports account and adjusts the roster on a daily basis. At the moment it is very basic and only adjust roster positions for NFL, NBA, and soon to be MLB. It ranks the players based on overall Yahoo owned percentage and statistics from the fantasy draft.

For NFL fantasy teams, the bot checks for bye weeks or injuries and benches players in such instances. Then it fills in the empty spots if other players are available.

For NBA fantasy teams, the bot looks to see if that player is playing that day and also checks for injuries. The algorithm sets the roster based on multiple variables in order to rank the players and find the best combination based on the multiple positions each player could fill.

MLB is in development and should be ready early in the 2015 season.
